When you join us as a Radiology / Fluoroscopy Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:30am-6:00pm. A $5 shift differential applies after 5pm. You Will: Prepares patients for radiological procedures and performs radiologic exams following established procedures for patient care and safety. Performs high quality radiologic exams on incoming patients in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care; may also be required to perform fluoroscopy and/or DEXA exams on incoming patients. Protects patients, self and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards. Performs all radiologic procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices, as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, and complies with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements. Develops radiological film and processes CR and DR imaging. Ensures that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements. Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
