Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our client's HR Technology team on a W2 contract basis with a potential for contract to hire with the client. This onsite role in Beaverton, Oregon, combines deep HR domain expertise with product management leadership to drive the development and implementation of HR technology solutions. You will be responsible for managing vendor and supplier relationships while leading strategic product initiatives.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Management
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management using Agile methodologies, from conception through implementation
- Drive and own build vs. buy decisions for complex technology solutions, including vendor evaluation and selection
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and user needs
- Translate complex business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation effectively
Technical Leadership
- Guide implementation of HR technology solutions, particularly Workday, UKG, and employee engagement platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful product delivery using Agile frameworks
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture discussions to evaluate solution feasibility
- Maintain deep understanding of HR technology landscape and emerging trends
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Build and lead cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence
- Mentor team members and provide guidance on product development best practices
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and business stakeholders
- Conduct regular team meetings and status updates
Regulatory and Compliance
- Ensure HR technology solutions meet global compliance requirements and data privacy standards
- Stay current with international HR technology regulations and their impact on system requirements
- Support implementation of controls and processes to maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to validate solution requirements
Stakeholder Management and Reporting
- Partner with HR Business leadership and IT Directors/VPs to align technology solutions with business strategy
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations and reports on product performance and roadmap
- Develop comprehensive documentation for global enterprise systems and processes
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners
- Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to understand regional requirements and needs
Performance Management and Metrics
- Define and track system performance KPIs across the HR technology ecosystem
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics and delivery objectives
- Establish and track supplier performance metrics and SLAs
- Create and maintain dashboards for tracking project and product success metrics
- Implement continuous improvement processes based on performance data
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of product management experience with significant focus in HR technology domain
- Proven experience with HR systems, particularly Workday, UKG, or employee engagement solutions
- Strong background in both building and implementing complex technology solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
- Superior communication and presentation abilities
- Strong negotiation and prioritization capabilities
- Experience managing departmental budgets and resources
- Experience with global HR systems implementation and maintenance
- Knowledge of international HR technology regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated success in enterprise-wide system implementations
- Track record of managing vendor relationships and performance

- Scrum Master Certification

Salary : $70 - $85
