Warehouse Operations Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM

This management position is responsible for overseeing and directing all lift and floor picking personnel and their productivity. Functions that fall under the direction of this position include surplus inventory picking outside of the Autostore, order consolidation and fulfillment, safety, workspace organization, and cleanliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the lift and floor pickers, providing leadership and guidance at all times.
• Manage picker workload and priorities through the Wireless Workbench
• Ensure timely and accurate inventory pick and fulfillment transactions.
• Communicate issues to the appropriate party on behalf of the picking team.
• Ensure thorough investigations into all inventory tagged as missing.
• Resolve all discrepancies/issues regarding inventory.
• Mentor and train all new team members.
• Promote safety, workspace organization, and cleanliness.
• May be modified from time to time. Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Supervisory experience
• Detail oriented
• Computer literate
• Some technical competency

• Good communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Forklift licenses (as necessary)
• OSHA 30 Authorization

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Frequent walking.
• Frequent standing and repetitive hand motion.
• Lifting requirements include repeated lifting of up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent walking on open, raised catwalk.
