At CareFirst Imaging, we engage best-in-class technology to discover the true cause of pain, so you receive the right diagnosis and get the treatment you deserve. We are seeking a rockstar MRI Technologist to cover our Bonita Springs and Fort Myers locations.
We work with referring physicians, including orthopedic surgeons, pain management and rehabilitation doctors, neurologists, neurosurgeons and chiropractors, as well as case managers, personal injury attorneys, sports teams and others interested in achieving the best in medical imaging; we also directly serve patients, who are their own best advocates.
Job Description :
- Perform diagnostic MRI procedures in a healthcare setting.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists, safely.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all relevant protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
- Utilize magnetic resonance for the purpose of detecting pathology
- Perform MRI and MRA, as directed by a clinic provider.
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the MRI suites
- Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff
- Assist other modalities, such as X-ray as needed
