What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Account Associate II - Support Services position at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego?
JOB SUMMARY:
This position performs various functions to maintain all documentation related to the patient financial record including, but not limited to, prepping, scanning, indexing, and quality review of patient financial records. Distributes and sends mail, orders supplies, and submits service requests for equipment for all areas of the revenue cycle. Updates the patient record in the patient accounting system by creating various correspondence records, updating guarantor addresses, and posting non-cash payments, among other updates. Communicates and works with internal RCHSD team members as well as representatives from external business entities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
3 years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience
The current salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.27
