Position Overview
The National Accounts Field Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations for national accounts. This leadership role includes team management, escalated issue resolution, cross-departmental collaboration, and ensuring service excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the National Accounts Field Service team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with service, production, and purchasing teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Assist in training new team members to maintain high customer service standards.
- Address escalated customer concerns with professionalism and strategic problem-solving.
- Oversee department performance metrics, including response times and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in service operations, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complex service escalations and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration within an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software.
Interaction with Others: Reports to the Director of Field Service – National Accounts. The Service Manager will collaborate with multiple departments, including production, service, and external customers. The ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with all members of the team is critical to the success of this role.
Working Environment: Work is primarily performed in an office setting, but collaboration with field service teams and other departments may require occasional visits to other areas. The role involves regular interaction with customers and cross-departmental teams, which can be fast-paced and sometimes stressful. Patience, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a high-pressure environment are key to success in this role. Overtime may be required during peak workloads or when addressing urgent customer needs.
