Manufacturing Facility Associate

It is for a general maintenance associate (someone who is multi-skilled, but does NOT have 20 years of experience).

A few years of experience is fine (working in a plant and/or manufacturing type of environment).

Any Electric Certifications are a plus.

Any Plumbing Certifications are a plus.

Forklift experience is a plus.

The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Batesburg, SC.

Accountabilities:

• Knowledge of 120v/220v single phase and 230- 480v 3 phase power.
• 1-3 years Experience working with single and 3 phase power.
• 1-3 years Experience in hydraulic/pneumatics.
• 1-3 years Experience in general building maintenance.
• Experience in plumbing/electrical in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of power tools/hand tools associated with the job and can safely use them.
• Knowledge/experience in HVAC in an industrial setting.
• Experience operating a scissor lift and working from a raised platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Education Required:

• High School or equivalent

Summary

As a Manufacturing Facility Associate, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. You will report to the Facility Manager and be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting production activities. Your core skills in manufacturing, combined with relevant plumbing expertise, will contribute to the overall productivity and safety of our facility. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
• Perform plumbing tasks as needed, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report any issues to supervisors.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
