Job Description
Manages the production and distribution of animal feed. They maintain mill equipment, operate forklifts and unload bulk ingredients. Operating computer programs, they fill customers orders accurately and ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Skilled in handling rail cars and trucks, they also maintain records of feed inventory and mill operations.
Requirements:
Job Duties
. Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
. Must be able to work overtime and holidays as needed
. Must be able to operate grinding system at compacity to ensure corn is ground
. Monitor all pelleting, batching and grinding as needed
. Collect samples of all feed types being produced
. Must make sure all ingredients are flowing from ingredient bins
. Wear proper PPE
. Follow all safety guidelines
. Clean pellet mill floor at endo of each shift
. Clean pellet mills out when they are shut down and lock/tagout to ensure they are ready to restart
. Perform any task asked by management
