What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hatchery Labor position at Raeford Farms of Louisiana LLC?
Objective: To process chicks and to bring the hatchery back to a clean environment. Will be performing duties in the chick processing area. After finished processing, then will be assigned a designated area to clean in the Hatchery. Will be trained to operate a Pallet Jack. Must be able to following Animal Welfare Policies, Safety Policies, SOP's and GMP's, and all other Company policies.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40-80 pounds. Must be able to push/pull heavy objects. Must be able to be around chemicals for extended periods (while cleaning). Must be able to work around live animals. Must be able to work in a warm, dusty and cold, moist environment. Must have good Attendance.
