Shop Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Auto Collision, automotive diagnostics, and Prep. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on various industrial equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on internal and external in vehicles, including New models and old cars.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Align and weld components as necessary to maintain structural integrity.
• Operate various types of equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Assist in the training of new technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Familiarity with OEM specifications and standards for heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Auto collision related to industrial equipment.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications in relevant areas are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work

Ability to Commute:

• Canutillo, TX 79835 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Canutillo, TX 79835: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
