Parts Counter Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES : but not limited to this list
- Greet telephone and walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Support inventory management initiatives by processing lost sales daily.
- Process Parts Orders
- Determine parts needed by analyzing information / description provided by the customer. Provide price quotes and information requested by the customer in a timely manner.
- Check parts inventory for needed customer items in stock and initiate special orders if necessary.
- Invoice charge customers or collect payment from cash customers. Pull parts for the shop and attach to repair orders as directed.
- Ensure that Special Ordered Parts receive priority and distribute to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up on quotes given to customers.
- Process customer returns and warranty claims according to written policies.
- Assist in the physical inventory of the Parts Department.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area according to Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be added or removed at management discretion.
Pay is salary plus monthy commissions
