Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and professional vehicle purchase experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will assist clients in securing financing while maintaining full compliance with lender and dealership guidelines. A successful Finance Manager will prioritize customer satisfaction, expedite deal funding, and ethically present and sell aftermarket products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit interviews and prepare accurate credit applications
- Verify customer information prior to submitting to lenders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions
- Clearly disclose financial terms and options to customers
- Structure deals in compliance with lender and dealership requirements
- Calculate and prepare profit sheets for special finance deals
- Present and sell finance and insurance products, such as credit insurance and service contracts
- Process and book deals accurately and in a timely manner
- Complete customer registration on-site at delivery via CVR
- Monitor deal funding and promptly resolve any stipulations
- Collaborate effectively with all departments, maintaining open lines of communication
- Support the sales department as a team player
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Sales Manager in an automotive dealership
- Proficiency with CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds
- Experience using Dealertrack or RouteOne
- Familiarity with Darwin or similar digital menu-selling platforms preferred
- High level of dependability, professionalism, and ethical conduct
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
