Director of Training

Position Overview: As the Director of Training, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs for our sales staff. Your primary goal will be to enhance sales performance, foster professional development, and create a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for teaching, and a deep understanding of automotive sales processes.

Full-Time salaried position, Monday through Friday $120,000.00-$180,000.00/year DOE

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of the sales team.
• Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
• Assess the training needs of the sales team and create individualized development plans.
• Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to team members to improve skills and achieve targets.
• Collaborate with management to establish sales goals and performance metrics.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training programs are relevant and effective.
• Foster a positive and motivating training environment that encourages growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales and training, preferably in a dealership environment.

• Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and automotive products.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Experience in developing training materials and utilizing various training methods.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Paid Time Off:

• All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
• Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date.
