This role involves planning and leading a variety of activities, including homework help, arts and crafts, physical games, and STEM projects, while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that align with program goals.
Provide homework assistance and support in skill development.
Supervise and engage with students, fostering teamwork and positive social interaction.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, following program guidelines and protocols.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress and behavior.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in Education or Child Development preferred).
Experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or recreational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, encouraging approach.
Ability to create a fun and inclusive environment while managing group activities
