As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing machinery, equipment, and systems; troubleshooting issues; and conducting preventive maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operations
- Utilize technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair work
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using appropriate tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring repairs and installations
- Welding experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
