Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for representing staffing needs, workforce planning, and talent strategy to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals. They will also lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both field and office positions, developing and implementing effective strategies to attract top talent.
Responsibilities
- Represent staffing needs, workforce planning, and talent strategy to senior leadership.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both field and office positions.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Oversight of onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Develop employee relations, performance evaluations, and retention strategies.
- Maintain and update HR policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Track HR metrics and provide reports on hiring, turnover, and employee engagement.
- Coordinate employee training, benefits enrollment, and company events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in HR and recruiting, preferably in the construction or heavy civil industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve business objectives through strategic HR initiatives.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certifications.
