You’ll be working alongside a fantastic group of professionals, collaborating with the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing and others across the organization. We’re looking for someone who can identify and nurture sponsorship opportunities, communicate compelling brand stories, and contribute to the continued growth of RLL’s partnership portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Proactively research and prospect new sponsorship opportunities, from local businesses to national brands
- Cultivate strong relationships to understand partner goals and deliver tailored marketing solutions
- Support strategic outreach through cold calling, email, and digital media campaigns
- Create impactful proposals and sales decks, in collaboration with the marketing team
- Work closely with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to develop compelling sales presentations that reflect RLL’s brand and vision
- Represent RLL during race weekends and special events — hosting guests and prospects
- Stay informed on competitor activities and industry trends to maintain RLL’s competitive edge
- Collaborate on marketing materials that support the overall sales process
- Maintain and update CRM systems (HubSpot) with accurate contact, activity, and pipeline data
- Submit timely reports tracking outreach, engagement, and performance metrics
- Contribute positively to team culture through collaboration and shared success
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Preferred 2 years of successful sales experience; experience in sports sponsorship preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships
- Confident in leading conversations with prospective partners and presenting solutions
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint; familiarity with Keynote is a strong plus
- Comfortable using CRM systems like HubSpot to manage contacts and sales activity
- Adobe Suite knowledge is a bonus
- Willingness to travel and work weekends or evenings for events
