IT Support Specialist

Support key functions related to asset management – staging/ imaging, and onboarding provisioning to end users, laptop refresh, receipt of non-functional IT assets, inventory control, packing and shipping between buildings. Ensure that all inventory is properly accounted for and inventory levels are maintained.

Functional Responsibilities

• Support onsite computer staging and imaging
• Review inventory counts and balance accuracy. Ensure that all inventory is properly accounted for
• Assist with asset deliveries to the users
• Maintain chain-of-custody from receipt of inventory through customer delivery using asset inventory management tools.
• Assist with imaging of computer inventory (Windows), ensure inventory is stored properly and available for customer distribution
• Prepare non-functional IT equipment for disposal
• Ensure data-retention hold process is followed for all assets based on procedure

Additional Requirements

• Proficient in deploying and setting up physical laptops with Windows 10, with a preference for Windows 11.
• Skilled in configuring Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Edge, OneDrive, and Teams on Windows devices.
• Competent in troubleshooting and resolving common Windows issues, including performance, network, and peripheral problems.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy when updating devices within the hardware inventory database in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills preferred
• Excellent written, verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Quick on the feet, multitask - manage workload at a high rate of speed.

This is an onsite position 5 days/week in office.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
