- Unloading biomass fuel from trucks and load fuel into the appropriate hopper
- Operating and maintaining fuel handling equipment such as chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bag houses, pumps, valves and air compressors
- Maintaining a safe work environment by using personal protective equipment, participate in safety training, follow safety procedures and adhering to all applicable SDSs
- Recording data such as pressures, temperatures and flows and perform trend analysis on data
- Maintaining neat and accurate records, both written and electronic
- Completing preventative and corrective maintenance items
- All other duties or responsibilities as assigned
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Previous experience using heavy wheeled equipment, such as skid steers and wheel loaders.
- Ability to become proficient at operating a front-end loader and bobcat
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, planned and unplanned shutdowns and vacation relief
- Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme weather, at heights and confined spaces
- Ability to obtain a Special Boiler Operator's license from the State of Minnesota
