Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Wellness Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being among students through engaging and informative lessons. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging students to make informed health choices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and wellness curricula that align with educational standards.
• Teach students about nutrition, physical fitness, mental health, and overall wellness practices.
• Create interactive lesson plans that engage students in discussions, activities, and projects related to health topics.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, quizzes, and feedback to ensure understanding of key concepts.
• Organize workshops, seminars, or events that promote health awareness within the school community.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and community organizations to enhance the health education program.
• Stay updated on current health trends and research to provide accurate information to students.

Skills

• A degree from a recognized university in Health Education, Public Health, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an accessible manner.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students towards healthy lifestyle choices.
• Excellent organizational skills for planning lessons and managing classroom activities effectively.
• Knowledge of current health issues and trends relevant to youth populations.
• Experience in teaching or working with children is an advantage but not mandatory.
