Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and inform patients about procedures to ensure their comfort.
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists during interventional procedures, such as paracentesis and needle aspirations/biopsies.
- Maintain precise record-keeping and assist in scheduling to facilitate an efficient patient flow.
- Oversee the maintenance of ultrasound equipment and supplies, ensuring a well-organized work environment.
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic ultrasound exams.
- Experience with routine invasive procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of maintaining accurate records and assisting with patient scheduling.
- Knowledgeable in ultrasound equipment upkeep.
- Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Registration in relevant specialty areas is preferred.
- Exceptional patient care and communication skills.
