Position: Experienced Driver (22-24ft Truck)
Location: Tri-State Area (NJ, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island)
Event Duration: April 14th - May 9th, 2025
We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced, and hardworking individual to join our team as a driver for a large-scale event. This is a freelance/part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone with experience driving 22-24ft trucks, and who is comfortable working in event logistics. The role requires managing the loading and offloading of the truck, overseeing inventory, and ensuring the safe transport of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles ranging from vans to 16'-24' trucks throughout the tri-state area, including NJ, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island.
- Safely load and unload items, ensuring that all items are securely transported.
- Maintain organization and care when packing large and small items into the vehicle.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure all items are accounted for.
- Communicate effectively with the team and ensure efficient operations.
- Assist with the physical labor of carrying and lifting heavy objects (50 lbs).
Requirements:
- Proven experience driving 22-24ft trucks; CDL is a plus.
- Comfortable working with various types of vehicles, primarily trucks.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- **Flexible hours** with the ability to work early mornings or late evenings as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with both loading/offloading and inventory management.
- Experience with event logistics is preferred.
- Ability to work on-call or with flexible scheduling.
Event Dates:
- Active hire for April 14, 2025 – May 9, 2025, with potential for additional dates following.
**Please note**: This position requires in-person work; remote work is not available.
