Qualifications
High school diploma or its equivalent required; degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of management experience, or equivalent job experience, required. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan, direct, audit, and accomplish goals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Must possess excellent communication and computer skills to include extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Must be able to meet firm deadlines with quick turnaround times and ensure key stakeholders are current on project statuses. Excellent customer service and recovery skills required. Minimum age of 21 years and ability to obtain and maintain registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
- Responsible for managing and supervising slot operations and technical teams at multiple casinos to include recruiting, training, planning, assigning and managing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and coaching employees.
- Reviews and analyzes electronic gaming device reports and adheres to federal cash reporting requirements.
- Makes recommendations to the GM regarding machine moves, configurations, game adjustments, and new game availability in order to consistently maximize the profitability of the slot floor.
- Helps create plans to monitor and measure slot performance in conjunction with player ratings and financial data.
- Plans and manages the coordination of slot moves, modifications, upgrades and installations with vendors, regulatory agencies & support areas.
- Implements and manages technical service, preventative maintenance schedules, and guest service standards for the Slot Department.
- Helps create and manages the budget to ensure the department runs efficiently to achieve established fiscal and performance goals.
- Conducts regular slot/video performance analyses to determine efficient machine mix and maximize profitability.
- Attends and facilitates slot discussions and analyses for monthly property financial reviews.
- Manages the development, implementation and review of the slot product, ensuring integrity, and product reliability.
- Implements and monitors compliance procedures as required by Nevada Gaming Control Board and internal controls.
- Helps build and maintain professional relationships with machine vendors.
- Protects company assets at all times by working with other key company employees.
- Effectively handles customer concerns and requests.
- Addresses and manages complaints, or concerns from employees.
- Knowledgeable of all programs, policies and procedures affecting casino employees at all casinos.
- Effectively supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service.
- Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.
- Prioritize tasks and uses time effectively.
- Works with General Manager to ensure slot machines are current and slot floor is designed to be competitive or premium to the local and industry markets.

Must be able to sit, walk and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to converse over the telephone in a clear and efficient manner. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and reach. Must have the manual dexterity required to write and operate computer. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. When on casino floor, be able to tolerate areas containing smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
