Seasonal General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that requires to work outside in all types of weather and be on your feet walking, lifting, pushing, bending. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Working outside in all elements of weather.
• On feet walking all day, lifting 50 pounds or more, bending, twisting, squatting.
• Use of conveyor system, pump system, to unload railcars to truck trailers.
• Perform general labor tasks in also in a warehouse setting, including loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues as they arise.
• Operate forklifts as needed, ensuring safe transportation of materials within the facility.

Experience

• No experience needed will train
• Clean Background.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment.
• Forklift certification is beneficial but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
• A strong willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the transload environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
