Job Summary :
The Engineer VI - Engineering Manager applies a thorough knowledge of current engineering principles and practices across various aspects affecting the organization. This role utilizes expertise acquired through progressive experience to address crucial issues and unique conditions . The Engineer VI - Engineering Manager stays informed about new methods and developments , recommending new practices or changes in program emphasis while managing programs of limited complexity and scope .
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead Technical Discipline Team : Manage and guide a technical discipline team within the organization.
- Technical Specialist : Serve as the technical specialist in applying advanced concepts, principles , and methods in an assigned area.
- Stay Informed : Keep up-to-date with new developments and requirements , recommending changes in programs or applications.
- Project Coordination : Interpret, organize, execute , and coordinate assignments .
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.
