Job Summary :
The Instructional Design & Training Producer Level I will contribute to improving the quality and impact of learning content and instructional design for both new and existing courses at RailPros .
This position is responsible for assisting in the design and development of learning experiences for RailPros employees and customers (both internal and external training products ). The role requires collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to assess training needs and implement effective training solutions .
As part of the RailPros Training and Development team , this position will develop training for eLearning and instructor-led programs under the direction of senior-level team members . Training content will focus primarily on safety training and technical skills training using various instructional methodologies and multimedia tools .
Given RailPros' emphasis on technology-driven learning , this role will also be responsible for coordinating the production and implementation of media assets for training. The ideal candidate will be proactive in designing, developing, and implementing training solutions that enhance employee performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content (e.g., audio, video, simulations, games ).
- Participate in the end-to-end development of learning content, including assessment methods to measure effectiveness.
- Design learning solutions that accommodate diverse learning styles and resonate with a broad audience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and knowledge gaps .
- Provide curriculum recommendations based on a requirements analysis .
- Define instructional goals and create content that aligns with them.
