POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Forklift operations: operating sit down and reach forklifts including loading and unloading trucks and material handling.
· Order selection: pallet, full case and repack. Repetitive lifting of 35 lbs.
· Radio frequency equipment: use of RF computers throughout warehouse operations performing various functions.
· Computer skills: basic skills needed for warehouse computer system, printers.
· Order preparation: stack, verify count, wrap, print packing slip, and load.
· Parcel shipping: process orders with warehouse computer system by verification and print packing slips
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Able to lift to 25lbs regularly, 40lbs occasionally.
· Working knowledge of office equipment.
· Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
· Strong time management, organizational, and teamwork skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Enthusiastic self-starter.
· Must have ability to work with minimal supervision.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Forklift experience with sit-down and reach forklifts.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge or Agriculture sector and products.
· Able to navigate through PeopleSoft resource planning system.
· Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
· Warehouse distribution experience.
· Automated material handling equipment experience.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads the material handler group, trains new employees on procedures and documentation.
· Loads and unloads trucks.
· Moves materials within the warehouse or storage facility to and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other materials handling equipment.
· Moves material from the warehouse to the production floor and makes transactions on the system to preserve inventory accuracy.
· Receives materials from suppliers and checks against packing list.
· May help with cycle counts and makes packing lists of shipments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience working in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems
· Experience leading a team.
· Familiarity with PC programs such as Excel and Word
· Ability to work well with others in a group.
· Ability to read and write English.
· Able to work various hours, including weekends and extended shifts
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· 5 years of experience necessary for this position.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree (or 10yrs of equivalent work experience)
· Forklift certified

- Assists with or may lead the cycle count program.
- Makes transactions on the system to adjust discrepant materials with the proper investigation.
- Makes inventory transactions in and out of the system.
- Has a very good knowledge of materials being handled.
- Coordinates special product requirements and allocation needs with customer service and manufacturing groups.
- Responsible for distributing workable, prioritized sales orders to warehouse.
- Purchase transportation services from approved carriers.
- Tracks and reports shipments and transportation and/or warehouse issues.
- Maintains DC on-time shipment performance through use of various reports.
- May be responsible for distributing workable, prioritized sales orders to warehouse.
- May coordinate quality and engineering hold efforts involving the Distribution Centers.
- Answers phone and email inquiries from internal and external customers of the Distribution Centers.
- Participates as required for rework projects and other administrative functions, as directed, in the facility.
- Will cross train with other DC office positions for coverage as needed.
- Maintains shipping documentation.
- Has the ability to move materials by hand or by using equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Working knowledge of distribution, logistics, and networking standards.
- Need to be with PC programs such as Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory management systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- WMS or Manhattan ERP-Related training or certification desired
