What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthy Food Cook position at Rainbow Blossom?
This role's main functions are to efficiently prepare food items from menus set by the Food Service Manager , focusing on quality and consistency while adhering to food safety guidelines .
This is a full-time position, not to exceed 40 hours each week.
Requirements
- Must obtain a Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hire.
- 1 years' experience in a food service environment.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment, i.e., walk-in cooler, and / or freezer.
- This position will be required to use, clean, and maintain heavy-duty juicing machinery while adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, to sit , squat , or kneel occasionally, and to climb rarely
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
