Strategy Planning and Execution
Coordinate with stakeholders for planning and execution of organisation’s strategies
Design data gathering methodology and execute the engagement with various stakeholders, for the purpose of strategy planning or as part of deep diving into problem statements
Sense make datasets, translate and present as insights to Executive Director and/or Leadership Team for data-informed decisions
Develop common templates for use in planning and articulating of organisation’s strategy
Collaborate with various stakeholders (wider strategy planning team or Unit / Department Leaders) to define outcomes, outputs, key activities, and inputs for each strategy, where relevant
Act as the key coordinator with all project teams or business units / departments to align efforts and connect across various strategies
Support in the coordination with Finance on budget proposal and utilisation, and P&C on manpower resources
Conduct regular external scans and keep abreast about new developments in the industry
Source and implement the use of relevant software to track progress of strategic and/or high impact initiatives in the organisation
Ensure documentation of discussions, decisions, and action items to ensure clarity and alignment
Ensure archiving of key knowledge assets created as a result of organisation’s strategy
Impact Reporting and Outcomes Measurement
Support in the design of impact and outcomes metrics, collaborate to enable data tracking and reporting, and perform data analytics
Support in identifying the impact and outcomes indicators and metrics for the organisation, and the design of the organisation’s impact dashboard
Collaborate with programmes to map outcomes reporting per prescribed by funders with organisation’s impact dashboard
Collaborate with the Technology team to put in place the necessary system, processes, and people capability for data tracking and reporting
Analyse data from impact and outcomes indicators and metrics and provide regular reports to Executive Director and the Leadership Team
Monitor the effectiveness of current metrics and tracking methods, and propose adjustments where needed
Stay updated on advancements in data analytics tools and impact measurement frameworks, especially those relevant in the industry
Strategic Communications and Proposal Development
Curate key messages of organisational strategy and ensure content are audience centric; Develop proposals to pitch to funders
Create and deploy the communications plan in regard to communicating organisation's strategy and/or impact and outcome reporting
Leverage on all possible and relevant touchpoints for delivering of key messages pertaining to organisation's strategy and/or impact and outcome reporting
Translate the organisation's strategies and/or impact and outcome reports into compelling key messages tailored to various audiences (e.g. Board, Committees, Leadership Team, People Managers, Staff, Funders, Partners)
Collaborate with ACE to create visually appealing content using multimedia tools (such as infographics and videos) to enhance message delivery
Maintain a repository of communication materials for consistency and reusability
Develop proposals to pitch to funders; In doing so, to execute data collection to as evidences for problem statements, perform root cause analysis, articulate solutions using Theory of Change, demonstrate the Desirability, Feasibility, and Viability aspects of the proposal, and draft the I/E projection
Project & Change Management
Provide end-to-end management of assigned projects and where necessary support organisation-wide change management efforts
Undertake projects as per assigned through the Executive Director Office
Identify risks and barriers to the success of the projects and proactively put in place risk mitigation measures
Design and execute communications to ensure alignment with stakeholders
Support the planning and execution of change management for large scale initiatives that could be whole-of-organisation or whole-of-unit efforts
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Administration or Organizational Development
Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic planning or corporate planning roles
Expertise in applying analytical methods, frameworks and tools to complex business challenges
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with Unit and/or Department Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Agility: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and has high change agility to adapt to versatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) situations
Stakeholder Engagement: Confident in engaging stakeholders across various levels, including leadership and management levels. Possess relationship building skills to collaborate with other units or departments
Data-oriented: Able to work with qualitative and quantitative data sets comfortably and independently
Systems Thinking: Able to appreciate and examine linkages and interactions between the components of the entire system (i.e. entire organisation, such as but not limited to people, policies, processes, and practices)
Analytical Ability, Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking: Ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately, and to think strategically, and make sustainable recommendations
Reporting: Ability to draft reports at a professional level, undertake research and synthesise information to prepare written advice and produce high level correspondence.
