Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background in early childhood and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding their development.
- Collaborate with other educators to support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance in their learning journey.
Requirements
- Experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
