What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Leader position at Rainbow Child Development Center, Inc?
Rainbow Child Development Center is an early education and care agency comprised of three programs offering children a wide variety of learning experiences, including STEAM, music, literacy, and more. We have long understood the importance of young children’s emotional competence and an evidence-based social-emotional learning approach to creating the building blocks for lifelong learning and success. Our programs provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences to fulfill each child’s potential for social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Our Extended Learning School Age program is for children between the ages of 5 and 13 years old, providing after-school activity on school days and full-day activity during school vacations. Through this program, we offer children a safe space, caring and supportive staff, time to interact with peers, fun and engaging activities, and intentional time to practice positive skill development.
We are seeking to hire a Group Leader for the Extended Learning School Age program. They will be responsible for the supervision and safety of the children enrolled in the program, as well as carrying out daily program activities, during the program’s school year operations. This includes after-school hours (1:30pm-5:30pm) and full-day during school vacation weeks (7:30am-5:30pm).
