We are looking for a teacher for our 4k classroom for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a 4k program through the Monroe School District but it is housed in Rainbow Childcare and the teacher would be considered a Rainbow employee.
The teacher would be hired specifically for this classroom, but is welcome to work in other classrooms in the center when the school year is over or they may have summers off. The program runs 4 days a week with time for prep on Fridays.
Duties
- Teacher is responsible for daily lesson plans that are designed to prepare students for Kindergarten. Subjects would include math, letters, social emotional, cognitive development etc.
- Teacher would be responsible for completing paperwork such as attendance, developmental checklists etc.
- Must ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in the classroom.
Requirements
- Teacher must have a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teaching license for this age.
