Join our dynamic team as a Business Developer at Rainbow Ecoscience (a division of Rainbow Companies)! As a Business Developer you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and training the sales team to effectively sell our products/services. Your expertise will directly contribute to the growth and success of the organization by building relationships, conducting market research, and implementing actionable strategies. You have the ability to establish yourself as a subject matter expert (SME) amongst your colleagues and peers within the industry. Applicants with job experience in tree care and plant health care highly preferred.

What You Will Do:
- Identify New Opportunities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging markets.
- Use data analytics to assess market needs and competitive landscape.
- Develop a pipeline of prospective clients and continuously update it with relevant information.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define value propositions and key selling points for targeted audiences.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- SupportDevelop pricing strategies and promotional plans to attract prospective clients.
- Market Analysis:
- Analyze competitor offerings and market positioning to ensure a competitive advantage.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market insights and potential business opportunities.
- Training and Support:
- Develop training materials and programs for the sales team focused on new products/services and selling techniques.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's knowledge and skills.
- Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including role-playing scenarios and feedback sessions.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent the company and generate leads.
- Follow up with leads and maintain communication to foster long-term relationships.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver on key projects
- Performance Tracking:
- Set measurable goals for business development efforts and track progress regularly.
- Utilize CRM tools to monitor sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to refine strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Urban Forestry or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

- $70,000-$90,000/year depending on experience
