What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildlife Lead Technician position at Rainbow Companies?

Salary Range: $25-$30/hour
Rainbow Pest Experts (a division of Rainbow Companies) is looking for a Wildlife Lead Technician to join our team! You must have a strong background in wildlife management, problem solving skills, and care for our customers and the environment they live in. This role involves implementing wildlife management strategies and protocols that provide predictable results through identifying wildlife issues, educating our customers, effective and safe trapping and removal, and exclusion when necessary.
This is a full-time, hybrid position. You will be required to travel to client properties in the Twin Cities metro and will occasionally need to travel to our Minnetonka, Minnesota headquarters. We are a fast-growing company that is 100% employee-owned and values based. We are looking for a driven wildlife professional who can grow with our expanding team!
What You Will Do:
- Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding Structural Pest Control and Wildlife Control
- Develop, implement, and train effective wildlife control strategies using modern and humane methods
- Develop, implement, follow, and train all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or a GED
- Valid driver’s license and a commitment to safe driving
- 1 or more years of Wildlife Control experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of Wildlife Control experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Structural Pest Control Experience
- Must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check
- Licensed for Structural Pest Control in the State of Minnesota and able to achieve further licensing if necessary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is performed outdoors in any weather element. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must be followed at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
