What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apparel Production Associate position at Rainbow Lettering?
SCREEN PRINTER OR EMBROIDERER POSITIONS OPEN: We are looking for the ideal candidate to master our apparel decorating processes. Individuals should be motivated, accountable and have an attention to detail. Candidates will learn computer programs that run the decoration.
SCREEN PRINTER - in this position will be expected to efficiently print hundreds of garments per week. You will be responsible for receiving and examining production orders and determining the best way to print them. This is an interesting job where each order is a new and unique challenge. Successful candidates should be: responsible; able to work independently; able to stand for long hours; comfortable with manual labor; and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Artistic skills are considered a plus too!
EMBROIDERER : Duties consist of, but not limited to the following: Set machine for trouble shooting for threading by using tension controls and hoops to assure proper alignment and quality. Observe operations and machines to assure that thread supply was sufficient to fill order. Program the correct color sequence. Inspect logos to surpass quality standards. Ensure orders are completed according to due dates to ensure production timeframes. Additional training and experience in Peak Stitching, Packing, and Cap Machine.
Experience preferred in either area, but if you don't have any experience, and are willing to learn a new trade, we also offer excellent training opportunities! Come for an interview and discuss your preference for either area or both!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
