Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Restoration Technician with current IICRC certifications to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with restoration industry field operations and software applications and demonstrate exceptional communication skills when working with clients, insurance adjusters, team members, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold damage restoration services
- Conduct microbial remediation following IICRC guidelines
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, air scrubbers, and containment areas
- Use industry software including Mitigate and Xactimate to document and manage jobs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of job progress (photos, moisture readings, equipment logs)
- Communicate professionally and effectively with homeowners, team members, insurance representatives, and subcontractors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency work
Qualifications:
- AMRT certification (IICRC) required
- Proficiency with Mitigate and Xactimate (or similar restoration platforms)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property restoration or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Background check and drug screening required
