Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various client sites to provide on-site IT support (paid travel time).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Assist with installation, setup, and configuration of IT equipment.
- Document support activities, maintain records, and update tickets.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service while onsite.
Qualifications:
- Strong desire to learn and grow in IT support.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Experience with coax, DOCSIS, and POTS is preferred.
- Must have a personal laptop for troubleshooting tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively and be punctual to all client sites.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A ) are a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with basic networking concepts (e.g., routers, switches).
- Previous experience in technical support is beneficial but not required.
