At Growth Solutions (a subsidiary of Rainbow Companies) we are committed to delivering top-tier solutions in Utility Vegetation Management. We are currently seeking a part-time Operational Support Specialist to join our team. This fully remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in data entry, report generation, or a similar administrative role.

This role is crucial in supporting our operational processes by ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You’ll work closely with the Business Manager to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and assist with administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Schedule (CST) :

  • Monday : 8 : 30 a.m. – 2 : 30 p.m.
  • Tuesday – Friday : Approximately 4 hours per day. The exact schedule will be coordinated with the Business Manager.
  • Hours may increase to a total of 6 hours per day based on workload and deadlines.

What You’ll Do :

  • Data Entry & Validation : Accurately enter data into various systems, ensuring consistency and completeness of information.
  • Verification : Perform routine checks and cross-reference data for accuracy to ensure compliance and integrity across multiple platforms including Esri based platforms.
  • Invoicing : Assist in generating, verifying, and processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reporting : Monitor inventory levels, generating reports for safety compliance, field staff location verification and end of month reporting.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Business Manager to ensure smooth flow of data and resolve any discrepancies or issues in reporting.
  • Document Management : Maintain files and documentation, ensuring accessibility and security.
  • Customer Service Calls : Professionally communicate with homeowners, representing Growth Solutions and utility partners.
  • Operational Tasks :
  • Pull and input data from various sources to support operational needs.

  • Assist the Business Manager with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently

  • Physical Requirements :

    This position requires the ability to work on a laptop which includes typing, and the ability to see computer screens. Required to sit for extended periods of time, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in virtual meetings and by telephone; use hands repetitively to touch, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
