What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Producer - Social Media position at Raindrop?
Raindrop is a fast-growing agency and the leader in Marketing People Love. We are looking for our next Associate Producer of Social Media who is a talent mix of detail and process-oriented, creative, strategic, and relational. As an Associate Producer (Social Media), you are a crucial member of our vertical content team, helping to bring creative ideas to life and making amazing vertical content for our clients.
By forming a dynamic partnership within our Social Media, Production, Editing, and Account Teams, you will assist in managing scroll-stopping content for our clients. This will include producing organic and paid content for channels such as TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
You’ll work closely on your assigned projects and with internal team members to move projects from start to finish all while remaining highly detailed and hyper-organized. It is imperative that you can anticipate needs and challenges before they arise, and thrive in a setting where you are problem-solving at a moment’s notice.
If you are a self-starter with a background in coordinating projects, have a strong initiative, and are willing to learn to produce a variety of social assets this is the role for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Production Planning
- Coordinate production logistics for assigned vertical video projects
- Lead pre-production meetings ahead of shoots
- Develop shot lists in collaboration with the Vertical Content Managers
- Create production schedules and call sheets
- Research and book locations for shoots or coordinate set builds
- Apply for permits from appropriate organizations and negotiate location agreements
- Research and secure props, set design, and wardrobe items
- Manage booking external vendors, communication, contracts, and invoicing
Social Content Production
- Manage production day location logistics, talent coordination, and H/MU schedule
- Oversee production schedule and coordinate with the Vertical Content Manager to keep the schedule on track
- Handle staging scenes on set
- Coordinate craft services for crew, talent, and clients
Administrative
- Assist with managing production budgets
- Track all expenses and submit weekly reports
Requirements
- 1 year of professional production experience
- Experience coordinating complex projects with a keen attention to detail
- A flair for problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations
- An understanding of the industry and production process
- Ability to manage a high volume of projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to flex hours: Most filming is done between 9am-5pm M-F, but we do flex hours for certain shoots
