What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Resource Manager position at Raindrop?
Raindrop is a fast-growing agency that makes marketing people love, headquartered in San Diego. We are looking for a skilled Project Manager (Creative Resource Manager) to support our bustling Creative Team. The Creative Resource Manager serves as the liaison between the Creative, Editing, Photo, Video, and Account teams and the rest of the agency, helping steward projects to be on time and on budget, creating timelines, resourcing appropriately, and being the first point of contact where all projects flow through.
The ideal candidate will have an incredible attitude with the ability to juggle multiple projects with deadlines, be a collaborative team player across different departments and a whiz with scheduling and organization.
Responsibilities
- Creative
- Work closely with the Department Leads to help resource creative teams across projects, including copy, design, video, post-production, and photo.
- Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and resources, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with department leads, other CRMs, and New Biz to address and solve those issues
- Run weekly resource meetings and facilitate resourcing issues/conflict resolution with appropriate Department Leads.
- Monitor creative team hours against budgets and elevate issues to account and finance teams when we are out of scope.
- Work with departments to develop timelines and assign creative teams across various projects.
- Manage ClickUp and Parallax and help keep the team organized with project management.
- Help with organizational processes that will elevate the creative team and agency.
- Leadership
- Be an active part of the Raindrop culture and community. Serve as a role model of Raindrop culture for more junior team members.
- Lead internal teams with openness and passion for the work we do and the generosity of our partnership.

- Talent & Subcontractors
- Work closely with the Department Leads to identify contracting needs.
- Manage the contractors, helping coordinate projects and deliverables.
