We are looking for UX Engineer with Sensing Research experience in Seattle. Must be ready to come to office.
Responsibilities
- Sensor Signal Processing - build prototype for signal processing using ML/AL to enable AR/VR experience
- Application Development - Build AR/VR use cases/prototypes using ML framework, Tensorflow, pytorch and must be familiar with android development and AR/VR
- Sensing Hardware Development - The candidate should explore the prototype of AR/VR sensing hardware/circuit design/embedded design
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
● A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
○ Sensing systems (design, development, integration)○ Embedded machine learning (deployment of ML models on resource-constrained devices)○ Sensor signal processing (algorithm development, implementation, optimization)○ UX prototyping for 3D systems (user research, interaction design, usability testing)● Strong understanding of fundamental and advanced signal processing concepts.
● Demonstrated experience with ML prototyping and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
● Prior experience in prototyping for AR/VR or other 3D interactive systems, including proficiency in Unity.
Additional Desired Background:
● 5 years of experience in sensing systems, embedded machine learning, or UX prototyping for 3D systems
● Master’s or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
● A track record of independently prototyping, building, and developing sensing systems, such as medical devices, optical devices, biosignal monitors, input devices, or wearables.
● Familiarity with Android application development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
● Experience with hardware prototyping, including embedded systems development, analog front-end design, optical design, or audio systems.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
