Raineri Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
This critically important role will be responsible for proactively identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic plans to increase our revenue and market share, and building strong relationships with potential clients.
Compensation Package: Strong base salary and commission structure - negotiable.
Raineri Construction is a full-service general building contractor specializing in design-build construction. Raineri provides turnkey project development services and comprehensive construction and management solutions for a variety of industries. Based in St. Louis, the company has grown each year since its inception in 2003 and currently employs more than 100 employees.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve them.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis of market opportunities and competition to identify potential areas for growth.
- Build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Cultivate relationships with architecture firms, real estate brokers, and lenders that may lead to new business referrals.
- Develop and maintain a database of contacts that include real estate owners, brokers, lenders and operators.
- Assist with the development and delivery of persuasive proposals and presentations to pitch services to new clients.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure our services meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain a deep and comprehensive understanding of our services and how Raineri can be a more cost-effective and reliable construction partner.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends with an unrelenting focus on exceeding targets.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential clients
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Required - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Required - Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Required - Recent commercial construction industry-based sales knowledge and related job experience.
- Preferred - Have familiarity with local or regional construction project stakeholders and/or an existing network of local industry professionals.
