Assistant Property Manager
Location: Casa Blanca
1000 Claudia Court, Contra Costa County, Antioch, CA 94509
Compensation: $24-$26 Per Hour (Depending On Experience)

Key Responsibilities
Resident Management:
- Assist in addressing tenant concerns, complaints, and requests, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Process lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs in a timely manner.
- Support tenant engagement efforts, fostering a positive community atmosphere.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with affordable housing regulations, including HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and other programs.
- Help process income certifications and recertifications to ensure ongoing eligibility for tenants.
- Maintain and update tenant files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with housing guidelines.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, preparing lease agreements, and responding to prospective tenant inquiries.
- Help manage occupancy levels by participating in marketing efforts to attract qualified tenants.
- Track and maintain vacancy listings, ensuring accurate reporting of available units.
- Assist with coordinating maintenance requests and repairs, working with vendors and on-site staff to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas to ensure the property meets safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with rent collection, including following up on late payments and enforcing lease terms.
- Help the Property Manager with budget management, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly reports on occupancy, income, and expenses as required.
- Work closely with the Property Manager and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence with tenants and vendors.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing (HUD, LIHTC, Section 8).
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and affordable housing compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Property management certifications (e.g., NALP, CAM) are a plus.
- Proficiency with property management software.
- Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance.
- Hourly Pay: $24-$26 (Depending On Experience)
