POSITION SUMMARY : At the Rainforest Alliance we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to ensure the Rainforest Alliance continues to be the alliance partner of choice for companies to invest in net-positive impact in their supply chains. This role will maintain relationships with existing corporate partners activate new partnerships.

As a critical part of implementing this strategy, the Global Accounts team strengthens our position as a trusted and highly valued partner for our key company partners.
The Key Account Manager role sits in RA's Global Accounts team, part of the broader Marketing and Business Development department portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and grow key accounts in the North America market, with a significant focus on Canadian partners; ensure year on year revenue growth in the region, manage ongoing relationships and look for, and secure, opportunities for growth;
- Set and work towards the sales strategy for both existing key accounts, and potential new accounts;
- Act as RA representative for new and current partners in the region, setting clear objectives for account interactions resolving issues using internal expertise;
- Handle contractual terms and secure work that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs, working closely with our project teams, legal, marketing and compliance;
- Track implementation of offerings to partner companies and use feedback from customers and internal processes to continuously improve our account management program, offerings and internal processes;
- Establish performance metrics and regularly measure progress against them using the organisation CRM system;
- Act as one of the subject matter experts ("SME") of accounts in the North America market. Maintain a network and authority internally / externally within Canada and the United States;
- Work collaboratively with Global Accounts colleagues and other departments (e.g. global programs, products, marketing & comms) to best serve our customers;
- Follow policies and procedures, e.g. customer relationship management system;
- Adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and competitor threats;
- Other duties as assigned.

National Salary range (Excluding NY and DC) - $63,655- $90,906
