What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Supervisor position at Rainier Asphalt & Concrete?
Overview
We are seeking experienced professionals for our right-of-way crews at our North Bend, WA office.
The successful applicant must have a current Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) card and will have experience with flagging, set up and take down of traffic control devices, and talking with the inspectors. Someone with keen attention to the safety of everyone in the Traffic Control area (including the general public), rules and regulations of cities, county and state will also be considered. Good communication skills and the ability to talk clearly to people and over a 2-way radio is also imperative.
Candidates must be willing and ready to work. This is a working TCS position. You will be leading flagging crews in setting up and taking down traffic control signs and devices.

Founded in 2000, Rainier Asphalt & Concrete is a leading pavement contractor in the Puget Sound region. We provide various services, including: hot mix asphalt patching and paving, asphalt seal coating, striping, curbing, concrete flat work, crack filling, drainage and traffic control. We employ approximately 75 people and have offices in North Bend, Tacoma and Snohomish. The company is operational and busy year-round, and is much less seasonal than many competitors in this industry.
General Requirements
