What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Rainier Industries?
OAI Rainier, is a full-service supplier of visual branding with a long, established history. We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team in our Tampa location. Assembly Technicians produce a variety of high-quality products from wayfinding signage to wallpaper vinyl graphics and much more.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Prior quality assurance, manufacturing and/or fabrication experience preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues to minimize escapes while reading shop drawings and job travelers.
Experience in large format digital printing, operating flatbed and roll printers is a plus.
Comfortable using basic hand tools (i.e., drills, hammer, utility knife, wrenches & screw drivers).
Ability to read shop drawings, tape measure and ruler.
Ability to manage time and meet customer deadlines.
Ability to help lift, push, pull etc., 75 plus pounds.
Ability to handle oversize products - large prints, signage, etc.,
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Pay and Benefits:
This is an hourly position eligible for overtime. Starting pay will be based on experience and skills.
