What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Operator (Large Format Digital Print) position at Rainier Industries?
Rainier Industries is a local manufacturing organization with a long, established history. We are looking for a Print Operator to join our team.
The Print Operator operates large format digital printers (i.e., flatbed and roll printers) and is responsible for the set-up of jobs and pre-production print check to ensure proper machine set-up, ink viscosity, color, and print quality.
This role requires completion of an initial training period (about two-four weeks) on the day shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). Once training is successfully completed, you will transition to the second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Mechanical Aptitude and ability analyze and troubleshoot.
Computer literacy and be comfortable using a variety of software, including the ability to navigate digital tools, manage files, and communicate via email and other platforms.
Strong attention to detail with focus on quality & able to distinguish colors.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to meet production schedules.
Good attendance, punctuality, and ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
Communicate and understand directions both verbally and written in English.
Confident mathematic skills and measurements.
Lift and maneuver 35-75lb materials on a regular basis.
Forklift experience a plus.
Experience in manufacturing and/or large format digital printing is a plus.
This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. The pay range is $20.10 - $29.50 per hour depending on experience and skill level.
