Senior Estimator

Rainier Industries is a local manufacturing organization with 128 years of established history. We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. This senior-level position requires expertise in ERP software and the ability to interpret architectural, construction, and design documents. In this role, you will assess job feasibility based on Epicor (ERP) and Rainier’s capabilities, determine fabrication methods, and allocate labor and materials across resource groups. You will also coordinate with subcontractors, research materials, and prepare final quotes. Post-launch, you'll provide support through kick-off meetings, project management assistance, and collaboration with production teams.    The ideal candidate will have/be: Prior experience related to custom fabrication, preferably in the field of millwork, exhibit and display construction or equivalent is required. Prior experience in estimating costs for producing unique, custom products, including materials, labor, and overhead, while working with engineers and sales teams to ensure feasibility and profitability. Ability to read and interpret RFP, architectural, design and construction drawings. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to willingly accept responsibility. Ability to set priorities and use good judgment. Proficient computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and Epicor Software a plus)     Benefits and Compensation:  This is a salaried position. Starting pay is $80,000 to $103,000 per year.
