The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing department, overseeing all aspects of marketing strategy, campaigns, and brand positioning. The position requires close collaboration with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure effective communication of the company’s brand and product offerings to customers. Compensation & Benefits :

  • Annual salary : $100K–$125K, based on experience (negotiable).
  • Performance-based annual bonus.

  • Generous paid time off (PTO) plus 11 paid holidays per year.

Location :  Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position involves onsite work and national travel (up to 20%) for tradeshows and marketing conferences with clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Marketing Strategy Development :

  • Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to reflect industry shifts and customer behaviors.
  • Identify target audiences and customer segments in coordination with product management to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Team Leadership & Management :

  • Lead and mentor a small team of marketing professionals.
  • Utilize external agencies and resources as needed.
  • Develop and oversee the annual marketing plan in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Budgeting & Resource Allocation :

  • Manage marketing budgets to maximize resource efficiency.
  • Track marketing expenses and campaign performance to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Distribute funds across various channels based on performance metrics.
  • Brand Management :

  • Maintain brand identity and consistency in collaboration with the global marketing team.
  • Ensure marketing materials (brochures, website, advertisements) adhere to brand standards.
  • Align all marketing initiatives with the company’s brand messaging and positioning.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution :

  • Plan, execute, and assess marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including trade, digital, and social media.
  • Oversee PR initiatives, thought leadership content, promotional events, product launches, and special projects.
  • Measure campaign success and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Content Strategy & Development :

  • Oversee the creation of content marketing assets, including emails, blogs, videos, graphics, and social media content.
  • Manage the development of product, sales, and technical support materials.
  • Ensure effective content distribution across relevant platforms.
  • Digital Marketing & Online Presence :

  • Manage the company’s digital footprint, including website, social media, and email marketing.
  • Implement marketing automation strategies for lead generation and personalized customer engagement.
  • Develop SEO, SEM, retargeting, and content marketing strategies to increase web traffic and audience engagement.
  • Monitor and interact with customers on social media to build relationships and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Trade Show & Event Coordination :

  • Organize and participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and expand the customer base.
  • Develop creative strategies for trade show presentations and booth layouts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and sponsors.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration :

  • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives.
  • Partner with product teams to develop messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Coordinate with the global marketing team to uphold brand consistency and corporate identity.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting :

  • Prepare reports on marketing performance for senior leadership.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on insights and performance data.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a related industry.
  • Proven experience leading a marketing team and developing strategy.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious execution.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, email campaigns, and SEO.
  • Proficiency in website management and content creation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
