SUMMARY

Coordinate activities concerned with inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved in the manufacturing of natural body products

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

• Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions regarding procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
• Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
• Approve or reject drug products manufactured by Raining Rose, Inc.
• Pull samples from manufactured drug products and send them for testing to various facilities.
• Inspect all products from vendors which are used in the manufacturing of drug products.
• Test products which are used in the manufacturing of drug products for quality and purity as defined by the vendor.
• Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies.
• Firm understanding and compliance with company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices.
• Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve).
• Understanding of advanced laboratory equipment, including UPLC and Microbiology system.
• Train and share knowledge with Quality team and various Raining Rose employees.
• Regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relatable field required.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Knowledge of GMP’s, OSHA, rules and regulations required.
• Knowledge of material inspection methods and techniques.
• Understanding of advanced laboratory equipment.
• Training and understanding of laboratory hazards.
• Internal – Cross-trained in both laboratory and organoleptic processes.
